They will receive a Future Cruise Credit equal to the value of their booking, and full refunds for any add-on product, liked shore excursions or Princess Packages. “We are committed to ensuring these guests have the opportunity to rebook their cruise when the time is right,” the line said.

The FCC can be used for a new Princess cruise departing from Los Angeles anytime this year.

A wildfire rages intensely, engulfing trees and foliage as LA residents brace for impact. The sky is filled with smoke and embers, strong winds bend the palm trees. Debris scatters the ground near a road sign reading "HUMPS," vividly illuminated by the fire’s glow.

“Our hearts go out to all those affected during this challenging time. Princess Cruises is deeply saddened by the devastation,” wrote Negin Kamali Senior Director, Public Relations in an update.

“At Princess Cruises, we are proud to be part of the Los Angeles community, and we remain committed to supporting our neighbors as we face these challenges together.” The cruise line is based in LA but its office has not been affected by the fires. Just days ago, Princess marked its 60th anniversary year in the city.

The Los Angeles World Cruise Center remains open and cruise ship operations are going ahead as planned. Los Angeles International Airport is also fully operational for cruise guests flying in. Princess Cruises has three ships with scheduled cruise departures from Los Angeles for the rest of this month. These are Grand Princess, Discovery Princess, and Island Princess.

As of Sunday morning, 16 people are confirmed dead as at least six fires continue to burn across the city. It is estimated that more than 10,000 homes and buildings have been damaged or destroyed.
