Princess Cruises is Adding Celebration Key to its Caribbean Sailings

Princess Cruises announced that it will add calls to Celebration Key starting in November 2026, becoming the second major cruise line to visit Carnival Corporation’s newest private destination on Grand Bahama Island.

Star Princess Makes First Princess Call

Star Princess will make Princess’s first call to Celebration Key on November 1, 2026, followed by Regal Princess on November 9.

Four additional Princess ships, Caribbean Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess, and Sun Princess, will visit the destination throughout the 2026-27 and 2027-28 Caribbean seasons.

Carnival Cruise Line made the first call to Celebration Key in July 2025, marking the official opening of the Bahamian destination.

The 160-acre island features over a mile of beaches, five distinct zones catering to families and adults, and more than 30 dining and beverage venues.

Purpose-built by Carnival Corporation, it is the largest private destination project ever undertaken by the company.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring our guests an expanded Caribbean season filled with more of what they love – sun-soaked destinations, immersive experiences, and the elegance of our two newest Sphere-class ships,” said Jim Berra, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer.

Princess’s 2027-28 Caribbean season runs from October 2027 through April 2028, with nine ships sailing itineraries ranging from four to 15 days. The program visits 31 destinations across the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, including 22 unique islands and 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The cruise line will sail from five homeports: Miami (a new addition), Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, New York, and San Juan.

This season marks the first time Princess’s two newest Sphere-class ships, Star Princess and Sun Princess, will both sail Caribbean itineraries, including Star Princess’s inaugural homeport season from Port Canaveral.
