Princess Will Cruise 6 Solar Eclipse Sailings in 2026

Princess Cruises is meeting the demand for more solar eclipse sailings. From July to early August, the newly launched Sun Princess will host six cruises in time for 2026’s celestial phenomenon.

Princess Cruises President John Padgett announced that Sun Princess will join Sky Princess in offering these special voyages.

“Following the incredible response to our solar eclipse voyages last year, we’re thrilled to have both Sky Princess and Sun Princess providing guests with the unique opportunity to experience one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles.”

Guests who want to witness the eclipse onboard Sky Princess can join its 14-day August 8 to 22, 2026 itinerary. The 3,560-passenger vessel will embark on a roundtrip voyage from Southampton, UK.

During its transit, it will call on Cherbourg, France and several Spanish ports—Malaga, Bilbao, Cartagena, Lisbon, La Coruña, and Gibraltar.
