Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady has completed a two-week dry dock at the Fincantieri shipyard, unveiling upgraded accommodations, dining options, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.

Even though the ship is approaching five years old, the refurbishment, held Nov. 14-28, 2024, is part of the cruise line’s ongoing efforts to modernize its fleet.
Among the upgrades is the introduction of 24 new “Seriously Suite” RockStar Quarters on Deck 11. Each 352-square-foot suite includes European king beds, Peek-a-Boo showers, record players, and Virgin’s iconic Yellow Leaf hammocks, providing a luxurious haven for discerning travelers.
Dining options also saw notable changes. Razzle Dazzle restaurant introduced “Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle,” a Chinese-inspired evening concept featuring craft cocktails. Additionally, Grounds Club Too in The Galley now transforms into a full-service bar with lounge seating during evenings.
Six VIP cabanas with daybeds were added near the Aquatic Club on Deck 16, offering guests a private, elevated lounging experience.
The still non-smoking casino has been expanded with more slot machines, while the Redemption Spa now features a couples treatment room to enhance its relaxation offerings.
Scarlet Lady departed from Rome for a transatlantic voyage to Miami on Nov. 28 and is set to arrive at PortMiami on Dec. 14, 2024. From there, the ship will operate six- to eight-night itineraries to the Caribbean and Bahamas.
This refurbishment reflects Virgin Voyages’ commitment to creating modern, upscale cruise experiences tailored to ever-changing guest preferences.
Earlier in December, the company also announced an unlimited 12-month sailing pass for $120,000 plus taxes and fees, further solidifying its reputation for innovation in the cruise industry.
