1. Magens Bay Beach

Located on the north side of the island, Magens Bay is a popular beach destination for tourists and locals alike and known for its calm waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. There are also plenty of amenities here, including a snack bar, restrooms, and showers.

Its beauty is undeniable. In truth, Magens Bay Beach has been featured on various media outlets, such as the Travel Channel.

What people are saying: The water is warm, and the white sand beach is stunning. One of the best things about the beach is its lack of waves because of the shape of the bay. The slope into the water is gradual, perfect for wading and swimming.

2. Coki Point Beach

3. Sapphire Beach

The beach is a popular spot for snorkeling and sunbathing, with plenty of amenities like restaurants, bars, and pools.

Aside from being most locals’ favorite, Sapphire Beach offers many options for travelers who want to experience jet boat tours or fishing charters.

What people are saying: Doing all sorts of beach activities in Sapphire Beach is a fun experience as it has everything you need. There is a bar and grill that serves amazing tacos, coffee shops, and a nice pizza place. Taxi service is on point, so you won’t have a problem getting in and out of the area. Chair rentals are available as well, but make sure you check the signs while going far down the beach, as there is a private area for a condo complex.

4. Lindquist Beach

This is the ideal location for cruisers or travelers looking to stay in the Charlotte Amalie area. 

The Emerald Beach Resort is a great place to grab a frozen cocktail before, during, and after a hot day at the beach.  

What people are saying: Unlike other beaches in St. Thomas, Lindquist Beach is a more serene and quiet place. There are no food trucks or restaurants inside, but there are restrooms, camping spots, and picnic tables. Bring food if you want, but you can check out nearby stores to grab a bite. Make sure to save your entry fee receipt to go back in.

5. Secret Harbour Beach

What people are saying: Most guests applauded the resort for its fantastic food and drinks. The beach and the scenery are definitely on point, and the accommodations are clean and tidy. However, some guests pointed out that some staff are not friendly. There are also incidents when the hot showers are not working as they should be.
