Caribbean Princess reached its Florida home port in time for its four-day Thanksgiving cruise to Turks & Caicos. “The Love Boat” will continue offering Caribbean sailings from Port Canaveral until April 2025.
In light of the Thanksgiving holiday, Princess Cruises donated almost two tons of food to The Sharing Center of Central Brevard, providing necessities to needy families.
John Padgett, Princess Cruises’ President, acknowledged the vessel’s November 27 arrival, saying, “Today we celebrate the arrival of Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral, one of the premier ports in cruising, and proudly support the local community.”
Port Canaveral CEO, Captain John Murray, welcomed the ship and mentioned a local demand for Princess Cruises sailings. “We’re beyond thrilled to welcome the beautiful Caribbean Princess to Port Canaveral–a cruise line our guests have been requesting for a long time,” Murray added.
Caribbean Princess’ inaugural winter season includes 19 departures from Port Canaveral. These voyages encompass Eastern and Western Caribbean routes, with itineraries lasting six to eight days.
Eastern Caribbean Sailings
The 2003-built vessel will host six-day getaways to Grand Turk, Nassau, San Juan, or Amber Cove from December 9, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Guests can also opt for slightly longer eight-day vacations to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas from December 1, 2024 to March 23, 2025.
Western Caribbean Sailings
Those who prefer the Caribbean’s western region can sign up for eight-day explorations to Roatan, Belize City, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Embarkation dates are from December 15, 2025, to April 6, 2025.
Passengers can enjoy a 14-day adventure at sea by combining a six-day itinerary with an eight-day cruise.
Inside the Caribbean Princess
The Grand-class cruise ship has 1,571 staterooms that can accommodate 3,140 guests. Its lodgings feature interconnecting rooms, mini-suites, and suites.
Caribbean Princess also offers a range of entertainment options such as Movies Under the Stars, a Youth & Teen Center, Broadway-inspired productions, and its adults-only health and wellness venue, The Sanctuary.
Passengers can purchase the Princess Premier Package to get additional perks. Though the cruise line raised its price last August, the redesigned bundle features more unlimited offers. The company also recently increased the rates of its bottled water.
