Carnival Miracle Relaunches with New Features After Dry Dock

Carnival Miracle has resumed service in Europe following a comprehensive dry dock at the Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz, Spain.

The Carnival Miracle, featuring new features from its recent dry dock, is a large cruise ship docked at the port. Painted dark blue and white with red accents, it stands out against the clear blue sky above.

The 2,670-guest Spirit-class ship welcomed passengers in Lisbon on May 11, marking the start of its 2025 summer season.

New Enhancements

A lounge area aboard the Carnival Miracle features round tables, brown chairs, red barstools, and a framed American flag beside military insignia and patches—a cozy spot to explore some of the ship's new features after its relaunch. Blue patterned carpet covers the floor.

Enhancements include adding the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge—now featured on 15 Carnival ships—and a dedicated Chef’s Table venue.

Public spaces such as the Cloud 9 Spa, Serenity Retreat, Camp Ocean, and Club O2 have been refreshed, while the casino and mini-golf areas received layout updates. A new Carnival Adventures store and Dreams Studio were also introduced.

A brightly lit casino aboard Carnival Miracle features a round blackjack table in the foreground and rows of colorful slot machines behind. An overhead screen displays a game promotion, showcasing new features after the ship's recent relaunch.

The ship’s inaugural season voyage is a seven-night cruise from Lisbon to Dover, with stops in La Coruña and Bilbao, Spain; Le Verdon (Bordeaux) and Le Havre (Paris), France.

Throughout the summer, Carnival Miracle will operate 16 cruises departing from Lisbon, Dover, and Civitavecchia (Rome), offering itineraries that explore the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Baltic, and the Mediterranean.

In November, the vessel will reposition in Tampa, Florida, to commence six—to eight-day sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Carnival Miracle was the fourth and final ship in Carnival Cruise Line’s Spirit class, and started service in 2004.
