MSC World America Will Have 18 Bars and Lounges When it Arrives Miami

MSC Cruises teased us with news that its upcoming vessel, MSC World America, will have 18 bars and lounges, including a new comedy club and sports bar.

Cruisers eager to sail with the World-class vessel can look forward to a wide selection of American-style beers, craft gins, and reimagined Sweet Temptations.

Neil Palomba, Executive Vice President of Operations for MSC Cruises USA, claimed these venues have been redesigned for US passengers. “MSC World America offered us a great opportunity to look at the amazing slate of bars and lounges we developed for her sister ship—MSC World Europa—and update them to make sure we’re delivering everything our guests want in the American market,” he said.

New Pub Crawls

A stylish, modern brewery interior with a bar and high wooden tables offers the cozy atmosphere of upscale lounges. Copper brewing tanks behind glass on the right catch the eye. The space, reminiscent of MSC World America's chic bars, features dim lighting, dark wood accents, and framed pictures adorning the walls.

MSC World America will see the return of old favorites like the mixology bar Elixir, the British pub Masters of the Sea, The Gin Project’s 20 craft gins, and Coffee Emporium’s international brews.

It will also feature new hangouts through the All-Star Sports Bar and The Loft.

The All-Star Sports Bar combines the biggest spectator sporting events with ice-cold drinks and good food in the Promenade District. Watch your favorite teams in action, enjoy sliders and wings, and indulge in classic sports bar games. The All-Star Sports Bar offers interactive darts, foosball, and a digital shuffleboard.

A modern, spacious lounge reminiscent of MSC World America features a central rectangular bar surrounded by high stools. The ceiling boasts wooden panels and large illuminated letters, while multiple TV screens display sports games above the light wood floor.

If you need a break, step onto its large terrace for a breath of fresh air and amazing views of the ocean.

For music and hearty laughs, check out The Loft, a multi-purpose adults-only area boasting sophisticated, intimate spaces.

This venue in the Terraces District will host classic karaoke nights, dueling pianos, and comedy shows that keep going well past midnight. Its proximity to other bars and restaurants makes it a convenient way to end an evening out with family and friends.

Returning Dessert Destinations

MSC World America will have two dessert venues that tempt you to forget your diet—the popular Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café and the second branch of Sweet Temptations.

After its debut on the MSC World Europa, Sweet Temptations will sport a new look and a wider menu. Indulge your sweet tooth with self-serve frozen yogurt, handcrafted shakes, DIY ice cream bars, Venchi gelato and chocolates, donuts, candies, waffles, and warm crepes.

A modern chocolate shop interior features elegant displays of various chocolates and sweets. The room is well-lit with circular windows and decorative chocolate sculptures, including a large seahorse. Cozy seating resembling upscale bars is visible in the background.

In April 2025, MSC World America will launch as MSC’s largest North American vessel. Departing from PortMiami, it will sail weeklong cruises in the Western Caribbean, including visits to MSC’s Bahamian resort, Ocean Cay.

One of its most highly publicized amenities is an overwater swing ride that will hoist guests 160 feet above the ocean.
