Celebrity Cruises is introducing some new shore excursions, called the Celebrity Discovery Collection. From a tour of Italy’s Amalfi Coast to a private limoncello tasting in Malta, the excursions will open up the world for intimate groups of travelers. The first tours in the growing collection will be offered in the western Caribbean, with more globally throughout 2018.

The Celebrity Discovery Collection was designed with both seasoned travelers and new cruisers in mind. The excursions range from eclectic, off-the-beaten-path adventures to tours that hit the highlights in each port. Each tour was expertly created for those looking for immersive experiences in a small group setting. Each group will have no more than 24 guests, meaning guests will be able to have more interaction with their guide and a more personal experience.

Take a look at some of the new offerings:

  • French Day Experience in Nice and St. Paul de Vence – Guests can venture into the 17th century underground vault and storied wine shop in Old Nice, before heading to Michelin-starred restaurant La Colle-sur-Loup for lunch, and ending in enchanting St. Paul de Vence.
  • Italian Pasta Experience – Foodies will enjoy this pasta-focused tour, where they’ll arrive at the famed Martelli pasta factory by carriage for a tour of the facilities, followed by an entertaining pasta-making demonstration at Torre a Cenaia in Tuscany.
  • Barcelona’s Secret Basilica – Concert at the Bell Tower – Musically inclined visitors will be transported back in time here, with a live concert of medieval music.
  • Valldemossa and Exclusive Lunch in Deia – On this excursion, guests explore the quaint countryside before enjoying a private piano concert and visiting the La Cartuja ancient monastery.
