Royal Caribbean International is developing a new beach club experience. Royal Beach Club Cozumel is slated to launch in 2026 as a private destination for cruise ship guests.
Initial plans were announced alongside local dignitaries, including Quintana Roo’s state tourism secretary and the mayor of Cozumel.

First Details Revealed
The site for the new beach club is on Cozumel’s western coast. The Beach Club concept plans to feature “pools for every vibe,” private cabanas, snorkeling, and kayaking.
There will be various dining options, a street market, and a range of onsite experiences like cooking classes and tequila tastings.
“We are delighted to build on our longstanding partnership with the local community and government,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experiences.” |
Cruise Line’s First Beach Club Destination Opens Next Year
Further details about Royal Beach Club Cozumel will be shared in the coming months. The Cozumel development will become Royal Caribbean’s second Royal Beach Club Collection location. The 17-acre Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas is set to open in 2025.
“The anticipation for what’s next has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection,’ said Royal Caribbean International CEO Michael Bayley. |
The cruise line also operates private island destination Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas and Haiti destination Labadee, which is currently off-limits to cruise guests due to ongoing civil unrest in Haiti.
