Port Canaveral Gets Cleaner With Carnival’s Help

Hundreds of Carnival Cruise Line employees, both from the ships and ashore, did their part on September 17 for International Coastal Cleanup Day.  The annual cleanup event is spearheaded by the Ocean Conservancy, and last year over 18 million pounds of trash was collected by nearly 800,000 volunteers around the world. From Florida to the Caribbean to Central America and Europe, Carnival employees pitched in to clear up trash at a variety of oceanside destinations, furthering Carnival’s commitment to environmental protection and preservation.
