Carnival Valor Returns With New Waterpark and Revamped Casino

Carnival Valor has resumed service following an extensive dry dock in Spain, debuting a new WaterWorks aqua park and a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge.

A large cruise ship named Carnival Valor, featuring attractions like the Tribute Lounge, is docked at a port with a boarding bridge attached and industrial structures visible in the background under a clear sky.

The ship welcomed guests in Barcelona before embarking on a transatlantic Carnival Journeys voyage to its homeport of New Orleans.

Enhancements include accessibility improvements throughout public areas, redesigned staterooms with added USB outlets, and a revamped casino and spa.

A hallway with blue walls and a patterned floor leads to the Tribute Lounge, where a large screen displays a nighttime cityscape with tall buildings and bright lights. The ceiling is also blue with recessed lighting, evoking the vibrant ambiance of Carnival Valor.

The Cloud 9 Spa branding brings an updated wellness experience, while new youth spaces and an onboard photo studio aim to enrich the overall guest experience.

The new WaterWorks park features twin slides and family-friendly attractions on the top deck.

A colorful outdoor WaterWorks Park with yellow and orange slides, a blue spiral slide, and a large tipping bucket, surrounded by railings. This lively structure is located on the deck of Carnival Valor.

On Deck 5, the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge offers a space to honor active-duty military and veterans, now found on 16 Carnival ships.

Carnival President Christine Duffy said the addition aligns with the ship’s namesake and the cruise line’s commitment to military families.

Once in New Orleans, Carnival Valor will resume year-round four- and five-day Western Caribbean itineraries to destinations like Cozumel and Progreso.
