Costa Venezia Begins New Schedule of Turkey and Greece Cruises

Costa Venezia began a new schedule of voyages to Turkey and Greece on Sunday.

The cruise line is offering a “flight+cruise” package available from all the main European countries, with scheduled Turkish Airlines flights to Istanbul. The package has been created in collaboration with Turkish Airlines, the Turkish National Tourist Board, and Galataport Istanbul.

“Our restart program ahead of summer is strengthened by a truly unique offer. The main new feature of Costa Venezia cruises is the possibility of visiting the best of Turkey in a single holiday, starting from Istanbul, one of the most beautiful cities in the world,” said Mario Zanetti, president of Costa Cruises.

“Istanbul can be reached from the main European countries in just a few hours’ flight time, it has good air connections and modern ports, as well as a mild climate that makes it possible to operate all year round, and above all it offers an incredible variety of experiences and attractions.”

The three year old ship’s new Turkey program includes three different itineraries, all roundtrip from Istanbul.

From May 1 to November 13, 2022, Costa Venezia will offer two weeklong itineraries dedicated to Turkey and Greece, which can be combined into a 15-day adventure with eight calls in port for over 10 hours.

The first includes a two-day, one-night call in Istanbul, as well as stops in Izmir and Bodrum, Turkey and Mykonos and Athens, Greece.

The second includes two two-day, one-night calls in Istanbul and Kusadasi, as well as stops in Rhodes and Heraklion, Greece.

In spring 2023, the two Turkey and Greece itineraries will resume.

Costa Venezia is 135,000 gross tons and has 2,116 guest cabins. It features 13 restaurants and 8 bars, with dishes and menus created for Costa by three world-renowned chefs: Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León.

The vessel also includes a water park, adventure park, spa, and multiple swimming pools.
