Carnival Begins Longest-Ever Cruise Season From Norfolk
Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Magic has arrived in Norfolk, Virginia after spending the winter season in Central Florida.
Departing on Sunday, May 14th, the ship began its first sailing, a six-night cruise to The Bahamas, including stops in Nassau, Bimini, and Freeport, with two fun days at sea.
This extended cruise season in Norfolk will last until late October, offering a range of Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda sailings. In 2025 Carnival will begin sailing year-round from Virginia.

Sun Princess to Feature Cirque Entertainment
Princess Cruises’ upcoming mega ship Sun Princess will feature three original circus performances in its new top-deck entertainment venue The Dome. Created with Canadian circus company Cirque Éloize, the 20 to 30 minute shows will involve aerial hoops, an aerial pole, bungees, silks, contortion, and more.
Blue will be themed after the ocean, sky, and timelessness of love, while Come Fly Away will evoke notions of the 1950s era Rat Pack. Artbeat will celebrate the beauty and joy of living life in full color.
The cirque performances will be included and available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sun Princess is scheduled to debut in fall 2024.

Caribbean Island For Sale For Under $500,000
A five-acre Caribbean island complete with a house, staff accommodations, and an observation tower is on the market for just $475,000.
