Royal Caribbean Taking Test Cruise Volunteers
If you haven’t already signed up for test cruises, Royal Caribbean is giving you the opportunity to volunteer on one of its upcoming sailings.
The first sailing will be aboard Freedom of the Seas from PortMiami on June 20.
Previously the line had over 100,000 volunteers sign up in November when it first announced it was taking guests for simulated voyages.
Now that the line has clearance, they are putting the call out there again. You can sign up at cruisesimulationform.questionpro.com.

Carnival Says It Likely Won’t Be Taking Test Cruise Volunteers
Like Royal Caribbean, Carnival has announced that it is planning to begin test cruises in the near future. Fans are excited about the prospect of being aboard these sailings, but Carnival likely won’t be taking volunteers from the general public.
A spokesperson from Carnival told Cruise Radio, “Although we are still finalizing our plans for test cruises, we do not expect to need volunteers at this time. We appreciate the support and understanding of our guests and travel partners.”
The test cruises are a requirement from the CDC for ships that will not be starting up with nearly all vaccinated passengers and crew.
