Carnival Opens 400 Cruises to New Bahamas Resort

Carnival Cruise Line is now offering 400 cruises that include stops at its new upcoming cruise destination in The Bahamas, Celebration Key.

12 Carnival cruise ships feature visits to the $200 million resort from July 2025 to July 2026. They will leave from 8 US homeports and offer 3 to 14-day voyages.

Carnival’s president, Christine Duffy, remarked on the wide selection of voyages available. “As the first port destination exclusively designed for Carnival Cruise Line guests, Celebration Key will provide the ultimate Carnival fun in the sun, immersed in the natural beauty of Grand Bahama.

Our guests have a wide range of ships, homeports, and itineraries that visit our new exclusive destination to choose from,” she said.

Which ports will they sail from?

Available itineraries will sail from Port Miami, Port Canaveral, Galveston, New Orleans, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Norfolk, and Mobile.

What kind of itineraries are on offer?

Interested cruisers can choose between Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings, cruises to the Bahamas, and a Carnival Journeys voyage through the Panama Canal.

These are 3 to 14 days long. 3-day sailings leave in July aboard the Carnival Conquest and Carnival Glory, while the longest itinerary is a 14-day trip through the Panama Canal aboard Carnival Pride. It leaves on January 11, 2026.

Once Celebration Key opens, it can handle up to 2 million guests a year. It will also offer a mile-long white sand beach and retail and dining venues.

Already, thousands have signed up to learn more about its amenities and features, while the minister for Grand Bahamas has expressed excitement about the much-awaited opening.

“We have a bold vision of how Grand Bahama can become the premier destination for entertainment and events in the region and we look forward to showing Carnival’s guests a warm and memorable vacation when they start visiting our beautiful island in 2025,” stated the minister, Honorable Ginger Moxie.
