Carnival Radiance Makes a Comeback After Refurbishment [PHOTOS]

Carnival Radiance re-entered service in late September at the Port of Long Beach, California, following a two-week dry dock, during which the ship received multiple enhancements to both public areas and technical systems.

The Carnival Radiance, showcasing a gleaming yellow water slide, is docked at the port. With its vibrant red funnel standing tall amidst cranes in the harbor, this ship has undergone a stunning refurbishment. The sky is partly cloudy, and distant hills create a picturesque backdrop.

The 2000-built vessel, formerly Carnival Victory, has been refreshed to enhance the guest experience while offering its signature ‘Fun Ship’ staples like Shaq’s Big Chicken, Guy’s Burger Joint, and the BlueIguana Cantina.

Several key areas of Carnival Radiance were upgraded, including a full refresh of the ship’s youth spaces and sports facilities.

The ship’s ropes course, mini-golf course, and basketball court were revamped, giving guests even more fun and active recreation opportunities onboard.

The refurbished mini-golf course on the Carnival Radiance cruise ship deck features a giant red funnel and a large white spherical structure. With artificial grass, vibrant colors, and various obstacles, this lively course is set against a clear blue sky for guests to enjoy.

The popular Carnival Adventures store and onboard gift shops were also refreshed, along with the ship’s casino enhancements.

Slot machines twinkle with colorful lights in the background, while the floor features a red and gold swirl pattern, ensuring an inviting service atmosphere.
