Disney Reveals More Details on Kids’ and Teens’ Spaces on Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line has revealed additional details about the kids and teens spaces that will be on its upcoming ship Disney Wish.

Toddlers and little kids wil be able to enjoy a new cruise-themed playground called Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck, while older kids will be able to participate in galactic missions at Star Wars: Cargo Bay. Tweens and teens will enjoy their own clubs Edge and Vibe, as well as a new shared space called The Hideaway.

The maiden voyage for Disney Wish is set for June 9, 2022 from Port Canaveral.

Holland America Has Announced Special Offer For Military Members

Holland America has announced a special offer for military members sailing out of San Diego this year.

From now through December 31, active and retired members of the U.S. military can receive $100 in onboard credit. This offer applies to seven-night Mexico and California Coast cruises on Koningsdam, as well as the 10-night December 23 sailing on Zuiderdam.

The credit can be used for things like shore excursions, spa treatments, specialty dining, and onboard merchandise.

Carnival Celebrates 3 Months Back in Service

This week, Carnival celebrated three months back in service since the industry shutdown in early 2020.

The company’s restart began on July 3 when Carnival Vista set sail from Galveston, and then Horizon set sail from Miami the following day. Since then, nine more vessels have resumed service, with all 11 carrying 237,000 passengers to date.

The line plans to have 17 of its ships back in service by the end of the year.
