Gratuity, in a cruise line’s case, is money given to crew above and beyond their regular salary aboard the ship. In most cases, crew members don’t make a whole lot as a general rule, so gratuities are a way to help them out. They’re also a way to thank the crew for their hard work and dedication to their job.
We’ve compiled a list of each cruise line’s daily gratuity charge for your convenience.
