Princess Cruises has launched a 50 percent off promotion for all active first responders and medical professionals in thanks for their service.
“We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the first responders and medical professionals who have been our heroes caring for people in need day in and day out and continue to inspire everyone around them,” said Shelley Wise, Princess Cruises vice president integrated marketing. “We hope this special offer affords the opportunity to get away with their loved ones to reconnect and relax on a real vacation.”
The offer is valid for select voyages through February 2022 departing from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Mexico and the California Coast, plus Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale.
Those taking advantage of the deal can access verification of current professional status through Sheer ID, a digital verification form accessible at this link. First responder and medical professional information will be collected from October 18 to October 31, and then validated with offers emailed on November 3. The discount offer booking deadline is December 31, 2021.
In addition, active U.S.-based first responders and medical professionals who successfully verify their professional status between October 18 and 31 are automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a cruise for two people. One grand-prize winner will be randomly drawn and notified on November 1.
The grand prize value is $2,500, based on a seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise in a balcony cabin with drinks, wifi, and gratuities included with Princess Plus.
Currently, Princess sailings are available for fully vaccinated guests at least two weeks before the beginning of the cruise. All passengers must also produce a negative, medically-observed COVID-19 test result (PCR or antigen) taken within two days of embarkation.
