Celebrity Apex to Homeport in the United Kingdom in 2024

Celebrity Cruises has announced that for the first time, one of its Edge-class ships will be homeporting in Southampton, England for its entire 2024 season.

Celebrity Apex, the second in the class, will replace the recently renovated Celebrity Silhouette there, bringing one of the brand’s newest vessels directly to British shores.

From Southampton, Celebrity Apex will offer four to 13-night sailings from May to November 2024. Brand-new for Celebrity from England, the ship will offer a 12-night Norwegian Fjords and Arctic Circle cruise. Port stops will include Tromsø and Norway’s northernmost city Honningsvåg.

Further south, a new addition to the line’s itineraries from Southampton include the island of Ibiza, boasting traditional and modern culture, a vibrant culinary scene, and beautiful beaches lining azure waters.

Highlights of Celebrity Apex include:

• The exclusive The Retreat complex with a private restaurant, lounge, and sundeck
• The Magic Carpet cantilevered platform on the side of the ship, offering a different experience depending on what deck it’s on
• 29 culinary and beverage venues including the brand-new Craft Social Bar, offering 40 boutique beer selections
• F45 fitness classes, Peloton bikes, and “Women in Wellness” onboard content
