MSC Celebrates Construction Milestones

MSC Cruises celebrated construction milestones for two of its upcoming ships on Thursday.

The keel has been laid for another MSC cruise ship, along with the traditional maritime coin ceremony as a sign of blessing and good fortune for the ship.

And on the same day, MSC World Europa was floated out at the shipyard in France, where she will now move to wet dock for additional work until her November 2022 delivery.

Both vessels will become MSC Cruises’ first LNG-powered ships when they join the fleet next year.

Celebrity to Return to Martha’s Vineyard

The vessel will set sail from Boston on 11-night Canada and New England sailings.

Summit will also operate seven to 10-night cruises from Cape Liberty to the east coast and Bermuda.

And for Celebrity’s first time in almost 20 years, the ship will visit Martha’s Vineyard.
