MSC Cruises has rolled out a new era of specialty dining across its fleet, aiming to simplify the experience and boost value for guests.

The updates, announced on May 21, include fixed-price menus and fully customizable dining packages available on most MSC ships.
New Dining on MSC
The new model centers around guest flexibility and price transparency.
At most specialty venues, diners can now enjoy a three-course meal—starter, main, and dessert—for one fixed price.
Select premium dishes, such as Ozaki Wagyu beef, will still carry a supplemental charge.
“Guests want flexibility, transparency, and personalization,” said Georg Schmickler, senior vice president of on-board revenues at MSC Cruises.
“This upgrade further strengthens our culinary product, offering today’s cruisers what they expect and deserve.”
What to Expect
Alongside the menu changes, MSC has introduced a redesigned specialty dining package that allows guests to pre-purchase up to four dinners.
Guests have the option to dine multiple times at their preferred venues, except for Butcher’s Cut, which remains limited to one visit per package.
Children under 3 dine free, while kids aged 3–12 can order from a special menu for $12.
Advance purchasers can save up to 20 percent versus onboard pricing.
“Simplified single-price menus mean greater transparency for guests, and customizable packages add flexibility to create a seamless dining experience,” said Stéphane Franchini, senior food and beverage product director.
The fixed-price model is live on 10 ships, including MSC Euribia, World Europa, and World America.
Dining packages are available fleetwide, covering venues such as Butcher’s Cut, Ocean Cay Seafood, Kaito Sushi, Teppanyaki, Hola! Tacos, and more.
The changes come as MSC responds to growing guest demand for elevated culinary experiences that are easy to plan ahead of sailing.
