Princess cruises has announced details on their 2020 season in Europe, which includes a new ship and voyages to the Holy Land. Sailings range from 4 to 33 days, and go on sale November 8, 2018.
The fifth Royal-class ship in Princess’ fleet will be named in the UK and depart for her maiden season in the Mediterranean in Rome on July 11, 2020. Cruises will range from 7 to 22 days from Rome, Athens, and Barcelona.
The 2020 schedule also marks the return of the line to the Holy Land, visiting Jerusalem, Galilee, and more.
Island Princess will be heading across the world to join the European fleet, visiting off-the-beaten-path destinations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. This will include two opportunities to see the Northern Lights in late autumn. Crown Princess will also be sailing in Norway, Iceland, and Greenland.
Sky Princess will debut her first season with the 11-day Scandinavia & Russia itinerary from Copenhagen, and Regal Princess is all new to the popular 12-day British Isles voyage from Southampton. In total, three Royal-class ships will navigate European waters in 2020.
UNESCO Sites, Shore Excursions, and Cruisetours
Select sailings will visit an array of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Old City of Dubrovnik and the Acropolis in Athens. For shore excursions, passengers can choose from excursions created with Discovery, Animal Planet, Bon Appetit, and more.
Princess Cruises will be offering late-night and overnight stays in 41 ports on various sailings to give travelers plenty of time to explore ashore and enjoy the local nightlife.
Several Mediterranean and Northern Europe cruises can be combined with a multi-night land tour to create a cruisetour with options to explore classic Italy, imperial Europe, the best of Spain, and Ireland’s King of Kerry.
Captain’s Circle Savings
Princess Past Guests are eligible for a $100-200 per person discount off the public fare when they book early. This can be combined with launch and group promotions. The discounts don’t apply to third and fourth guests in one cabin. Additionally, a reduced deposit is available for Captain Circle guests when they book early.
