Royal Caribbean has shared a closer look at what guests can expect when Star of the Seas debuts in August 2025 from Port Canaveral.
The second ship in the Icon Class will offer new experiences and returning entertainment, dining, and nightlife favorites tailored for families, couples, and groups.
Entertainment on Star of the Seas
The entertainment lineup includes five signature air, stage, water, and ice productions.
Back to the Future: The Musical headlines the list, making its cruise ship debut with live music, choreography, and special effects.
Other new shows include “Create,” a Royal Theater production about a robot named KRE-8, and “Pirates & Mermaids,” a family-friendly AquaTheater performance blending diving, dance, and comedy.

The AquaTheater will also host “Torque,” a high-energy stunt show, while Absolute Zero ice arena introduces “SOL,” a visual journey themed around the sun.
Evenings onboard bring various nightlife options, including The Attic for comedy, Dueling Pianos, and the outdoor Bubbles bar in Central Park.
A new venue, Lincoln Park Supper Club, offers a jazz-inspired dinner show experience with cocktails and dishes rooted in 1930s Chicago.
Dining on Star of the Seas
When it comes to food, guests will have over 40 dining venues to choose from.
The AquaDome Market adds three new food stands featuring barbecue, Southeast Asian favorites, and South American street food.
Casual eats return at Surfside Eatery and Windjammer, the largest buffet in the fleet.
Star of the Seas will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, including stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
In December 2025, itineraries will also include Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island.
