Carnival Loosens Carry On Beverage Policy

Guests on Carnival Cruise Line will be happy the next time they try to bring non-alcoholic beverages aboard while in port.

Up until recently, though loosely enforced, guests were not allowed to bring beverages back onboard from port.

While the no bottle policy still remains in effect, guests can now bring cans or cartons on board.

Per Carnival Cruise Line
A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard as well as Carnival branded bottled water previously purchased onboard. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.

All alcohol purchased in ports of call will be returned on the morning of debarkation. Wine is still permitted on embarkation day.
