For the second year in a row, Carnival Cruise Line has been named Most Trusted Cruise Line in America by Reader’s Digest.
The award is based on a poll of over 5,000 Americans who were asked to rate products they trust across 40 different categories. Carnival received the most votes of any cruise line, and the awards are featured in the October issue of the magazine.
Earlier this year, Carnival debuted their largest and most innovative ship, Carnival Vista. It offers features such as the brand-new SkyRide, a track high above the ocean where guests pedal to move themselves around, the first IMAX theater at sea, RedFrog Pub & Brewery where beer is actually made onboard, and the fleet’s largest water park.
The cruise line is a major supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and has raised over $10 million for the hospital since 2010. Carnival also supports Operation Homefront with their Honor. Family. Fun. program in partnership with country superstar Carrie Underwood.
Carnival is also expanding their Carnival Journeys enrichment series with over 20 voyages that visit awe-inspiring ports in Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and other exciting destinations.
Christine Duffy, president of Carnival, said “Being named America’s Most Trusted Cruise Line by the readers of Reader’s Digest for two years running is a testament to our focus on providing our guests with unforgettable vacations as well as the incredible effort put forth by our team members, both onboard and ashore.”
