Cruise Line Rolling Out Immersive Dining Experience on Two Ships

Princess Cruises has announced a brand-new, invitation-only experience that each night will transport a select few guests to the Mediterranean — no matter where they’re actually sailing.

The immersive 360: An Extraordinary Experience allows passengers booked in suites to embark on a six senses journey showcasing Santorini, the Amalfi Coast, Barcelona, and Provence. Through synchronized storytelling, imagery, music, scents, cuisine, and visual film, guests are introduced to local ingredients, artisans, purveyors, and culinary method. This is all while enjoying a seven-course gourmet meal that includes wines from each destination featured during the experience.

“360 is a fusion of master storytelling, world-class cuisine, visual entertainment and ground-breaking technology that manifests in what can only be described as an Extraordinary Experience,” said Princess President John Padgett. “360 is a remarkable adventure that immerses our guests into the compelling cultures and flavors of the Mediterranean in a 90-minute celebration of the senses.”

360 is currently available for guests booked in suites on Discovery Princess and will be coming to Enchanted Princess in late January. It’s also for passengers on those two ships who book a future cruise in a suite on any ship including Princess Premier at non-cancelable rates. Invitations may also be gained from participation in specific “VIP” casino gaming and retail event sailings.
