Princess Cruises has announced a new program called Princess Prizes, which will be rolling out across the fleet following a successful pilot on Caribbean Princess.

Here’s how Princess Prizes works: every time an adult guest accesses their cabin using their Medallion device, they have the chance to win a prize such as onboard credits, wine tastings, Chef’s Table dinners, and even free cruises for two for the next decade.

Additionally, passengers can enter an end-of-cruise drawing, which will award at least $5,000 every voyage.

“Princess Prizes takes our guests’ MedallionClass experience to the next level, providing them with a fun way to win prizes simply by entering their stateroom,” said Princess President John Padgett.

“At Princess, we’re always aiming to provide our guests with unique experiences they can’t have anywhere else and Princess Prizes is just the latest example of how we can leverage MedallionClass technology in new and exciting ways.”

Princess Prizes is part of the line’s new add-on package Princess Premier, which includes unlimited wifi for four devices, a top-shelf beverage package, specialty dining, photos, and gratuities.

The Medallion, which is central to the Princess Prizes program, is a quarter-sized, wearable device that allows guests to take advantage of contactless boarding; locate friends and family on the ship; and have food, beverages, and other things delivered directly to wherever they are on the ship.
