After teasing the name reveal on its Facebook page over the weekend, Virgin Voyages has officially announced the name of its third cruise ship, and it’s very fitting considering what the cruise industry has faced in the past year. The vessel will be named Resilient Lady, and set sail from Athens, Greece on two 7-night itineraries beginning in July 2022.
On Tuesday morning the cruise line posted on its Facebook Page, “Introducing our third lady ship, Resilient Lady! She has big plans and brand new itineraries — from Piraeus (Athens) to gorgeous Greek islands like Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, Kefalonia, Corfu and Mykonos, as well as the Croatian coastline of Dubrovnik, and Kotor, Montenegro.”
“Sailing in the Med is such an extraordinary experience, and we’re so excited to bring the adventure of a Virgin Voyage to this beautiful place,” said Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group. “I’m so proud of the incredible work the team has accomplished to introduce Resilient Lady.”
Greek Isles Itinerary
Resilient Lady will offer an itinerary to the Greek Isles, sailing from Athens to Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, and Mykonos. Possibly the best part? The stop in Mykonos will be an overnight stay, allowing passengers access to the golden hour and nightlife on the island.

Adriatic (With Greek Isles) Itinerary
Also sailing from Athens, passengers on this voyage will spend their second day at sea before docking in Dubrovnik the following morning. With a 2 am departure from the city, visitors will have plenty of time to experience the history of Croatia during the day, and take part in the nightlife before heading back to the ship and sailing to Kotor, Corfu, and Argostoli.

Second Virgin Ship in the Mediterranean
Resilient Lady will be Virgin’s second ship sailing in the Mediterranean, after Valiant Lady.
Instead of debuting in Barcelona this summer as planned, Valiant Lady will instead launch from PortMiami this fall. However, the vessel is set to operate Mediterranean cruises in 2022.
Resilient Lady is scheduled for delivery from Fincantieri shipyard on July 1, 2022.
