Virgin’s Resilient Lady Begins Service

Virgin Voyages has officially launched its third vessel into passenger service, as Resilient Lady set sail from Piraeus (Athens), Greece on Sunday.

The vessel’s “MerMaiden” voyage is a seven-night Greek Island Glow itinerary, with port calls in Santorini, Rhodes, Bodrum, and an overnight in Mykonos.

This summer, Resilient Lady will also operate Virgin Voyages’ Adriatic Sea & Greek Gems itinerary, which includes calls to Split and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; and Corfu, Greece. The ship stays late in Dubrovnik so that guests can enjoy the city during the day and take part in its vibrant nightlife in the evening.

“Since our launch just a few years ago, we have received the travel industry’s top awards and have experienced a very high rate of return with up to 40% of our Sailors rebooking their next cruise while they’re still on board with us. I know people are going to love voyaging with Resilient Lady as much as they have with Scarlet and Valiant Lady, and I look forward to sharing this 5-star experience with even more Sailors this summer.”

Following her inaugural season in Greece, Resilient Lady will reposition to Melbourne, Australia, operating Australia and New Zealand voyages from December 11, 2023 to March 27, 2024.

Virgin Voyages‘ first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, currently sails from Miami, offering four and five-night cruises to the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Key West. Its second ship, Valiant Lady, is spending the summer operating seven-night western Mediterranean voyages.
