Carnival Cruise Ship Adds New Attraction

When Carnival Cruise Line’s Panorama arrives next year, she’ll feature an indoor trampoline park developed as part of the company’s new partnership with Sky Zone.

Welcome To The Sky Zone!

Spanning decks 6 and 7 of the Carnival Panorama — which will begin sailing out of Long Beach, California in late 2019 —  the main attraction of this first-at-sea space will be a 12-lane trampoline court. The 3,000 square-foot space will also include a challenge zone equipped with a climbing wall, a jousting beam, a Sky Ladder and a Tug Of War arena.

Sky Zone will have a variety of high-flying activities for kids of all ages.

The space will serve a multitude of purposes and host a wide variety of activities and events. For example, it will be home to after-dark glow parties. Feel like challenging friends (or, better yet, family members)? What better way than a high-flying game of dodgeball! Want to try and recreate some of the moves made famous by Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer, Shaquille O’Neil? The Sky Zone’s above-the-rim basketball experience might be able to help in that department.

While the word “trampoline” might scare some folks off, the space promises to offer something for all ages. There will be times set aside specifically for toddlers and their families, not to mention a slate of fitness activities which will cater to those looking for some low-impact exercise as well as folks ready to be challenged.

About Carnival Panorama

Details are slowly emerging about Panorama, the third ship in the Vista class following Vista and Horizon. What we know so far is that she will have some of the most popular features first introduced on her sister ships, including Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse/Brewhouse and Bonsai Teppanyaki, as well as the specially-designed space which will house the Chef’s Table. (This is in addition to the by-now-standard Carnival venues such as Guy’s Burger Joint, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Jiji Asian Kitchen and Cucina del Capitano, among others.)

The ship will also have the Havana Retreat area. Featuring hot tubs and a pool which overlooks the ship’s wake, this adults-only area is only available during the daytime to passengers staying in Havana staterooms. After the sun goes down, all are welcome to enjoy the Havana Retreat, making it a great spot for after-dinner cocktails.

Carnival Panorama will debut with a three-day inaugural cruise which sets sail on December 11, 2019. After that, she will do year-round seven-day Mexican Riviera sailings beginning on December 14.
