Holland America has announced its 2024 Alaska cruise and cruisetour schedule, which includes a new 28-day Arctic Circle itinerary that visits 12 Alaskan ports, longer 14-day voyages, and 117 weeklong cruises.
From April through September 2024, guests can take a Holland America voyage to Alaska aboard Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam. Bookings are now open for the cruises, with bookings for the cruisetours — which combine a cruise with an overland expedition to Denali and the Yukon — scheduled to open in February.
28-Day Arctic Circle
A new 28-day Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice cruise aboard Westerdam will depart June 9th in time for the Summer Solstice. The voyage will sail roundtrip from Seattle to the Bering Sea, and is a first-of-its-kind itinerary for Holland America.
Ports include Anchorage, Dutch Harbor, Haines (Skagway), Homer, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Nome, Seward, Sitka, Valdez and Wrangell, and Prince Rupert. Scenic cruising includes Glacier Bay, Inside Passage, Tracy Arm, College Fjord, Little Diomede Island, Prince William Sound, and Hubbard Glacier.
Other 2024 Alaska Highlights
The 14-day Great Alaskan Explorer itinerary includes eight Alaska ports. Departures are roundtrip from Vancouver. Departing May 5th, Nieuw Amsterdam‘s itinerary will include visits to Anchorage, Homer, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Skagway, and Valdez and Wrangell, plus scenic cruising to Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier. Departing September 15th, Noordam‘s itinerary will include Anchorage, Homer, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Prince Rupert, Skagway, Sitka and Valdez, with Glacier Bay.

Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam will offer seven-day Northbound Glacier Discovery and Southbound Glacier Discovery itineraries between Whittier and Vancouver. Ports include Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.
Nieuw Amsterdam, Koningsdam, Noordam, and Zaandam will offer seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises roundtrip from Vancouver to Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.
Seven-day Alaskan Explorer voyages sail roundtrip from Seattle aboard Eurodam and Westerdam and include calls to Victoria, Ketchikan, Juneau, and Sitka. Eurodam also visits Icy Strait Point and Glacier Bay, while Westerdam explores Dawes Glacier.
