Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas has arrived in Barcelona to kick off a summer of voyages in the Mediterranean.
The world’s largest cruise ship will operate seven-night voyages from Barcelona, Spain and Civitavecchia (the port for Rome) in Italy beginning Sunday, May 8. Destinations will include Florence, Naples, Capri, Provence, and Malaga.

New Highlights
Highlights of Wonder of the Seas that are exclusive to this ship include:
Suite Neighborhood
For the first time, an Oasis-class ship has eight neighborhoods instead of seven. Wonder of the Seas introduced the Suite Neighborhood, which is exclusively for those staying in the Royal Suite Class.
It includes a private sundeck with plunge pool and bar, an exclusive restaurant called Coastal Kitchen, the Suite Lounge, and the grandest Ultimate Family Suite yet — able to accommodate a family of 10.

The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar
Already a guest-favorite, The Mason Jar is a brand-new specialty restaurant serving up southern comfort food. Featuring staples and new twists on classics, The Mason Jar is open for brunch, dinner, and for late-night bites.
The venue features live country music, farmhouse-style decor, and a collection of whiskeys and southern cocktails.
Wonder Playscape
This amped-up, underwater-themed kids’ playground includes slides, climbing walls, interactive features that come alive by touch, puzzles, and more.

Entertainment
Wonder of the Seas features a lineup of original entertainment across its four “stages:” air, ice, water, and theater.
Over 100 performers and technicians come together for shows like inTENse, featuring the first all-female cast of aerialists, high divers, slackliners, and more in the aft AquaTheater.
A superhero-filled show called The Effectors II: Crash ‘n’ Burn is set to debut this summer.
Schedule
Wonder of the Seas’ western Mediterranean cruises will continue through October — one of eight Royal Caribbean ships sailing in Europe this coming season.
In November, the vessel will return to the U.S. to sail from its new year-round home in Port Canaveral. From there, the ship will operate Caribbean and Bahamas voyages, which will include calls to Royal’s private island Perfect Day at CocoCay.
