Disney Cruise Line has introduced a few changes that affect when customer payments and cancellation fees become due.

Final payments from concierge and stateroom guests are payable 30 days sooner. Instead of 120 days for concierge passengers, final payments must be remitted 90 days before sailing.
Meanwhile, guests who book suites must pay in full 120 days before embarkation rather than the previous 150 days.

The cruise line also modified its cancellation fee schedules for occupants of concierge staterooms and suites.
Initially, Disney had one calendar for all guests in these accommodations, regardless of cruise length. However, it recently rolled out two different schedules based on the cruise duration, similar to what it already enforces for other stateroom guests.
The deposit and a percentage of the vacation fare comprised the cancellation fee when the cruise was at least 89 days away. Based on the new rules, the deposit becomes non-refundable and accumulates higher penalties sooner:
- For cruises one to five nights long, the deposit and 50% of the vacation price are forfeited if the cancellation is made 44 days from the sailing date.
- For cruises longer than six nights, the deposit and half of the vacation price are charged if the cancellation is requested 55 days from departure.
The updated cancellation fee schedules, including the two new concierge and suite accommodations policies, are available in the next section.
